Pareshaanpur

Details of the upcomingProduction No. 1 tentative titled 'Pareshaanpur'

Director’s Note’

As a film maker, I believe film is the most effective medium to communicate to the masses.  I prefer to entertain masses in a creative way. I am glad if they can take some learning with them after all the laughter. In today’s time if you open the newspaper or switch on the TV most of the advertisement spaces have been taken by upcoming Babas or fake god man.  These Babas utilizing our spiritual quench for their material benefit by giving false information.  My feature film ‘PareShaanpur’ is worked upon the similar situation.

The universal concept of superstitions all over world is visualized in the form of a cinema by us but in a very humorous and musical form. This film is set against two extremely different culture and lifestyles – the rural and the urban world. The backdrop of this feature film is ‘Andh-vishwas’ (superstition),  fake god men & lack of awareness which is still exist in every part of this world.

It’s a Story of a village called ‘Shaanpur’, but they are been taunted as well insulted as ‘bad omen’ because the villagers believe there is so much of ‘‘PareShaan’ ’ inspite of “Shaan” in the village. Even in a simple thing that happen to their life they mix up with shagun and apshagun without using their logical reasoning.

In this film I am introducing two sets of people to take the story ahead; one is villagers of rural mindset as they deeply sunk in superstition and the second one conmen or fraudster from cities. Here the people who represent urban and Rural India are not in its literal meaning. But these two sets of group represent two mind sets which exist in India. Both of our protagonists of the feature film become the reason to blend these two opposite mind sets. Here we are trying to make an effort to showcase the stupidity of superstition and how it is clearly away from spiritual matters. I have taken the genre of comedy to narrate the story; I believe that would the most interesting ‘ras’ that masses will love to see. We are very glad to introduce seven amazing music tracks till the end of the narration in our colorful feature film that certainly soothe feature film lovers’ ears and eyes.  Overall I am confident ‘PareShaanpur’ will entertain the people to its fullest and the will be having some learning to take back with them when they leave theatres.
